It’s Monday (again) but never fear because the Need to Hear is here to blow those dark clouds away and brighten your day. This is the Need to Hear a daily post, with three tracks that you need to hear today. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook so you don’t miss a thing.
Majik – Undercover Lover
A chilled out slice of pop brilliance from London based duo Majik and their new track ‘Undercover Lover’. Refrained vocals blend perfectly with a chilled out and synth tinged melody.
Waterstrider – Nowhere Now
New track from five-piece Waterstrider. ‘Nowhere’ is the title track from their upcoming album which is release April 6. ‘Nowhere’ sits somewhere between indie pop and rock. With its jittery but smooth guitar melody which somehow manages to work in a hypnotic and totally danceable almost tribal beat. It’s pretty hard to pin this track down.
Beat Connection – Illusion
Beat Connection are back with a rather smooth and funky new track ‘Illusion’. The new track sees the Seattle based four-piece pushing aside their slightly left-field electro-pop style of old, in favour of a, some would argue slightly more commercial sound.
