XY&O – Low Tide
A perfect slice of summer infused pop from Cardiff based trio XY&O. Taking their upbeat sound and layering it up with indie vocals and shimmering guitars, which bubble just below the tracks surface, only at times coming to the fore. They’ve been picked up as one of BBC 6 Music’s top tracks of the month. Their new EP ‘Shimmer & Shade’ is coming soon.
The Legends – Keep Him //
A lot can change and happen in seven years. (We looked like this seven years ago for example). So that’s why it’s surprising to hear that Stockholm based pop band The Legends, are releasing a new album ‘It’s Love’. After recording and releasing ‘Over & Over’ back in 2008, Johan Angergård the groups figure head, decided not to record any new albums. Till now that is. ‘Keep Him’ is the first track from the new album and is a heartfelt, subtly funky ballad. ‘It’s Love’ is released June 30th via Cascine.
WildFLWR – New House
New track from WildFLWR the stage name of singer and producer Danielle Elise. ‘New House’ combines her smooth, and sultry vocal with dense and deep electro production. It’s an interesting mix, which sees the track take you on a rollercoaster of soaring melodies and tender vocally led moments. ‘New House’ is out and streaming now.
