Oslo Parks – Slipping Away //
New track from Oslo Parks the project of Brighton based producers Rob Flynn & Ian Booth. Describing ‘Slipping Away’ as their “disco in the dark desert track”. It’s a seemingly upbeat electro pop track until you dig a little deeper into it’s many layers. Peeling them back you discover a subtle chilled underbelly, revealing a depth to the track which on first listen isn’t instantly obvious. ‘Slipping Away’ is out and streaming now.
Cosmicide – A New Disaster
Second track from Brandon Curtis aka Cosmicide the new project from the former member of The Secret Machine. Taking cues from his musical past, as well as exhibiting a strong Brit Pop influence to his sound. Curtis’s sound is an interesting mix. Mellow but ultimately hiding an upbeat refrain which just bubbles below the tracks surface.
Shura – White Light (Mt. Wolf Remix)
‘White Light’ is a track we’ve been a bit in love with over the last few weeks. Which is why we couldn’t pass up sharing this gorgeous remix by another of our faves Mt. Wolf. Casting aside the originals disco tinged pop melodies and stamping their own chilled out mark on the track. The London three-piece have managed to dump a truck load of emotion and feeling into what was already a pretty amazing track.
