Doprah the New Zealand trip-hop/chillwave duo that we covered last month are back with a new and very dark track. ‘San Pedro’ sets about channeling that Portishead chilled out vibe which we got a glimpse of on previous tracks ‘Stranger People’ and ‘Whatever You Want’. Deep basslines swirl around amoungst distorted vocals in a haunting aural waltz only briefly interjected by the metallic jangle of percussion, that gives you a feeling of being led deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole.
‘San Pedro’ is the third release from the duo’s debut album ‘Wasting’ and is avaliable as a free download over on their Soundcloud.
