With production from Charlie Andrews the guy that worked with Alt-J ∆ on their career defining debut release ‘An Awesome Wave’ last year. It’s not surprising that lots of people are standing up and taking notice of Sivu. Taking inspiration from the likes of Beck, Wild Beasts and Frank Sinatra. ‘Better Man Than He’ is packed with meandering melodies, contemplative lyrics and a vocal that peaks in all the right places, pair that with an amazing video which was filmed in a MRI scanner you’ve got a very interesting release. He’s just been signed to ATC the same management company as Radiohead, so expect to be hearing plenty more from Sivu.
