Welcome to our new weekly feature, the bundle. We’re generally rather busy bees here at the Pie Mansion. So we thought we needed a place to post all the tracks we had either missed or couldn’t find a space for during the past week. Thus The Bundle was born.

Oh Wonder – Landslide

You know a band are about to explode, when you mention to someone that you’re a music blogger and one of the bands they try to impress you with is Oh Wonder. ‘Landslide’ was released at the beginning of the month, but somehow it managed to slip off our radar, and I’m not sure why. Packing buckets and buckets of emotion, all carefully packaged up around a delicate and subtle electro melody. The duo are planning on releasing a new track every month for a year, so there is lots and lots more music to come from these two.

Nvdes – Unforgettable

Follow up to ‘Before The Weekend’ from the mysterious Los Angeles based project Nvdes. Starting life as a side-project, they’re now fully releasing music under the Nvdes name. And boy oh boy are we pleased they are. Jingling, and jangling guitar led melodies, mashed together with falsetto vocals make ‘Unforgettable’ … well … danceable. All that said we’re still not sure who or what is behind Nvdes, but if they keep this up who cares.

Petit Biscuit – Oceans

We always go a bit gaga over a nice big dollop of ambient chill. So very gutted we missed this gem from Petit Biscuit. Crazy falsetto vocals, swim effortlessly amoungst a sea of twinkling synths, and blissed out beats. It’s hypnotic, overworldly, and crying out for a sunset. And the best bit, it’s a free download over on Petit Biscuit’s Soundcloud.

Kwabs – Look Over Your Shoulder (Produced by SOHN)

Kwabs produced by Sohn. It’s a musical planetary alignment that even the Mayans would be proud of. Fusing Sohn’s subtle and delicate production with Kwab’s silky, smooth vocal. Into something that has the faint whiff of Michael McDonald about it. The track is going to feature on Kwabs upcoming album ‘Love + War’ which is due for release September 11th.
