Well the more observant of you will have noticed that we’ve got a slightly new name, we’ve dropped the ‘I’ and will now be known as LOVEPIE. We’re still a music blog and so we’ll not hang around discussing the finer points of the name change. Instead we’ll dive right back into bringing you some of the freshest new music the internet has to offer.
Kicking off the fresh start with a new feature we’re calling the Need to Hear. It’s pretty self explanatory it’s a few tracks that you need to get your ears around ASAP.
Subs – Close to Faith
It’s years since we first became a little too obessed with the Sub’s break through track, ‘Face of the Planet’. the Belgian electro dance producers haven’t relented in that time with their latest track ‘Close to Faith’ still packing all the high energy punch of their original material.
Giants – Forfeit feat YADi
YADi lends her amazing vocal talent to this rather feel good pop track and first single from new comers Giants.
Doldrums – Loops
Time to get dancey with the new irresistibly hard not to want to dance to single ‘Loops’ from Doldrums. Wonky production combines in a rather trippy track which describes that feeling of being stuck in a relationship.
Fiction – Morning Song
New single ‘Morning Song’ from Londoners Fiction is a feel good track, which combines picked guitars with crisp indie vocals. Think Theme Park’s upbeat melancholy.
