It’s been a bit of a good year for Sydney psychedelic rock duo/trio Jagwar Ma. After plenty of hype from the blogs and mainstream tastemakers such as The Guardian. With a interesting blend of surf pop, psychedelica and rock Jagwar Ma have quickly picked up a huge fan base.
Today they’ve announced the release date of their debut album ‘Howlin’ which is due June 10th via Marathon Artists. On the back of this they’ve also released new single from ‘Man I Need’. Which takes Jagwar’s Surf rock sound and gives it a glitchy, beat driven spin with just a hint of say The Happy Mondays if they’d been sunning themselves on the west coast of America, rather than the much damper streets of Madchester.
