I must admit i’ve been rather quiet lately. But i’m finally donning my headphones and getting back on the blogging horse (now theres an image). And what better way to get back on that imaginary horse than to talk about a band that I spent 2014 going a bit gaga over.
Prinze George are Brooklyn based trio who create upbeat, pop tracks which are bestowed with large amounts of electro synths, and mellow restrained vocals. Their back with a new track ‘Upswing’ which is the follow up to ‘Don’t Speak to Me’ which was littered with feel good vocals and a melody which was near impossible not to tap your foot to. So it was with this in mind that ‘Upswing’ came as a bit of a surprise. Mellow, dower, and a whole lot more restrained than previous offerings. Could this be a Upswing in a new direction for the trio, we’ll have to wait and see.
