Dublin, birth place of Bono, Chris De Burgh and that annoying one from the Script who was on the voice. So yeah when you think Dublin you don’t generally think ‘musical hot bed’. Well two friends from Dublin are setting out the to change that. I Am The Cosmos formed back in 2010 when musicians Ross Turner and Cian Murphy joined forces and have set about creating a sound thats, quintessentially late 80’s New Wave with a thick dollop of modern drudgery poured on top. The duo even admit to this by describing their sound as “tears on the dancefloor,”. Their debut album ‘Monochrome’ is out now and available to download and stream now.
