New track ‘Burn Me Down’ from London based artist Hawkon, an unsettling but strangely mesmerising glitch ridden RnB tinged record. It took me a couple of listens to be truly captivated by ‘Burn Me Down’, partly due to the tracks strange juxtaposed melody which sits awkwardly over the tracks vocals, beat and percussion. It’s this disjointed, layered approach that also gives the track it’s strange and surreal beauty. There are so many layers to the track it’s deserves and requires more than one listen in order to truly appreciate the tracks complexity.
‘Burn Me Down’ is available now to stream, but has not firm release date yet.
