New sounds from indie electro pop producer and Switzerland native Cristallin with his new ‘eon’ EP. Sparkly upbeat, sounds which border between pop, and ambient aural adventures that are littered with an overwhelming sense of nostalgia.
A nostalgia that can only be attributed to the the way Cristallin hot foots it between influences, one minute it’s a slow jam with an RnB style beat paired against the lyrics of Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’ (‘Feel’), the next it’s a sparkly electro 80’s inspired pop track (‘Forever’). It’s this use of influences, that makes Cristallin’s sound so reassuringly familiar and all the more intriguing.
Cristallin’s new ‘eon’ EP is streaming and available to download for ‘Name Your Price’ over on Bandcamp now.
