It’s only been a matter of days since Banks released her new ‘London’ EP which features a collaboration with SOHN.
As if that wasn’t enough Vienna based SOHN has unleashed a new track of his own. ‘Lessons’ which was released onto Soundcloud yesterday and has already received over 50,000 plays. As we’ve heard from earlier tracks ‘Bloodflows’ and ‘Red Lines’, ‘Lessons’ is a melancholic track which is built up around SOHN’s wistful and unassuming vocal. Where it differs from earlier tracks is its pulsating and throbbing beat which snakes its way through the track before crescendoing and giving way once again to SOHN’s vocals.
This feels altogether more grown up and more produced offering than the SOHN we’ve known so far, with some even making similarities to James Blake. No word on a release date, but it’s available to stream now.
