Poliça the Minneapolis indie electro pop band, have just hit us between the eyes with their latest release. ‘Chain My Name’ is a high power pop dance track which blends Channy Leaneagh’s distinctive vocal with a high kicking beat and an array of sparkly electro elements.
This is not the subtle considered Poliça we heard on tracks such as ‘Lay Your Cards Out’ or ‘Dark Star’, this is sledgehammer stuff. And gives us an insight in what to expect from the upcoming album ‘Shulamith’ which is due for release October 21 on Memphis Industries.
