indie electro pop has over the last few years been dominated by our gallic neighbours. with the likes of pony pony run run, adam kesher and beautaucue dominating the genre, its nice to see some newcomers from a slightly different geographical location. lemâitre may sound for all intents and purpose like a french electro indie outfit, they’re even signed to french electro power house kitsune maison. but they hail from oslo, norway. with melodic, distorted and sample laden tracks they’ve got an exciting sound that will definitely be featuring on numerous compilations and mixtapes over the next few months.
