Powers – Beat Of My Drum //
New track from Los Angeles pop duo Powers. Think Maroon 5 but with a ton more class, and a funky indie pop vibe. Their third release ‘Beat Of My Drum’ is being billed as their break-out track. But most people will recognise Powers from the The Knocks track ‘Classic’ which they lent their vocals to earlier in the year. The duo will be playing at Neon Gold Popshop West on May 15th.
Heart/Dancer – Outro (Entry Code, Dial Tone)
Ethereal, whimsical, enchanting, and shimmering, are just a few of the adjectives you could use when describing Stockholm based duo Heart/Dancer’s new track ‘Outro’. Having signed for Swedish label Sommarhjärta last year the duo of Linnéa Atieno and Joakim Buddee, have set out to create a sound, that’s emotionally charged, weightless, but also features heavy, and dense production.

Mirror Mask – Rhinestone Eyes
Not much information I can find about Mirror Mask. The track ‘Rhinestone Eyes’ was uploaded to Soundcloud about a month ago. A quirky, left-field electro pop track. The track’s melody is built around indie vocals, and distorted electro elements, which at moments through-out the track decay into a mellow, stark detune. Before launching headlong back into the tracks racing melody. We’ll keep digging and try to find out who is behind the Mask.
