Yates – Virtue

Follow up to the slightly funky ‘Dive’, which was release a couple of weeks ago. Berlin based Australian Yates is back with ‘Virtue’. A lo-fi track which blends Yates’ unique, subtle and heartfelt vocal, with an off kilter melody and ephemeral synths.

Yumi Zouma – Dodi

Taken from the New Zealanders new ‘EP II’ release. Yumi Zouma’s ‘Dodi’ blends gorgeous refrained vocals, with shiny synths and a delicate melody. While somehow managing to squeeze out an upbeat pop vibe. ‘EP II’ is out now on one of our favorite labels Cascine.

Navont – Vacant

First track from 20-year-old Canadian producer and singer duo, Navont. ‘Vacant’ is mellow, refrained and packed with ethereal aural elements, all framed by a rather angelic female vocal. ‘Vacant’ is labelled as a demo, so it will be interesting to see what new material the duo release in the next few weeks.
