It would seem you have to get up very very early to get a prime spot in the queues on Record Store Day. Too early infact for me, so after managing to convince myself that it was totally worth getting out of bed at 6:30am on a Saturday (yes on a Saturday) for limited edition vinyl. I managed to get my lazy arse down to Rise Bristol. But it was nearly 8am which was too late it would seem to get my hands on the free ‘Music Finland with Line of Best Fit’ mini compilation which i’d been eyeing up for the past week.
To my joy and delight though the Line of Best Fit (Rich Thane once tweeted me, true story) have put the whole thing online. Showing off the very best in new Finnish indie and electro curated by the Best Fit and produced by Music Finland. Featuring tracks from Sin Cos Tan, Phantom, Husky Rescue, K-X-P and Millenium. It just proves it’s not all about lakes and Santa Clause in Finland.
