Summer is starting to become something of a distant memory. With the prospect of the holidays slowly rearing up on the horizon like some sort of sleigh bell adorned behemoth it may be hard, but before we get busy decking the halls, stop and take a second to think back to our Summer playlist which featured the amazing soulful track ‘Homesick’ from London based Moko.
She’s back with two new tracks ‘Honey Cocaine’ and ‘Freeze’ which are both taken from her new ‘Black’ EP. Feisty lyrics combine with a smooth 90’s RnB beats to create dense tracks which ooze with soul and delicate pop sensibilities. And with the likes of Clash and The BBC starting to take notice, I think we’ll be hearing lots more from Moko.
