Silky smooth new electro sounds from Atlanta based artist Koresma. Mixing chilled out Trip Hop beats with glitchy, electro synths which hark back to video games of the late 80s’ all framed in succulent jazz melodies. It’s a mix of influences and styles that on paper really shouldn’t work, but in reality it actually does. It’s Belleruche meets Portishead, with a small smattering of Daft Punk’s electro wizardry.
Koresma’s latest track ‘Clouds’ is a laid back wander through a soundscape of glitched out audio fragments and samples, which dance amongst a dense back beat. Swaying in and out of range, giving way to moments of calm before picking up where it left off and letting you continue on your journey.
