Anteros – Fade To Grey
New track and the first from the London trio Anteros’s debut EP. It would be pretty easy to label this just another track that sounds a bit like Fleetwood Mac. But while the similarities are pretty striking, it’s the light and shade of Anteros’s delivery that makes this track stand out. The track is about the group coming to terms with moving to London, and they even take their band name from the statue that sits in the middle of Piccadilly Circus. ‘Fade To Grey’ is streaming now.
Zola Blood – Play Out
Dense, deep and very very dark is probably the best way to describe the new track from London four-piece Zola Blood. Scattered with hypnotic synths, and layers and layers of pounding and dense basslines. All of which is held together somewhat by a subtle vocal. It’s the sort of track that demands to be listened to again and again, just to get a full grasp of its many layers.
Say Yes Dog – Stronger //
New falsetto clad electro pop stomper from Luxembourgers Say Yes Dog. Having been kind of quiet the last few years the three-piece have turned things up a gear when it comes to releases. ‘Stronger’ is knee-deep in dense basslines, and electro pop fragments. Which all come together into a rich and full sound. Taken from their debut album ‘Plastic Love’ which is due for release September 4 and is available for pre-order now.
